Endesa Chile 2013 net profit soars 51 percent on lower generation costs
SANTIAGO Feb 7 (Reuters) - Leading Chilean electricity generator Endesa Chile said on Friday that its net profit jumped 51 percent in 2013, boosted by lower generation costs.
Endesa, which has generating units in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru, saw its bottom line rise to $675.7 million. ($1= 523.76 pesos at the end of December) (Reporting by Santiago newsroom; Editing by Lisa Von Ahn)
