Argentina posts current deficit of $1.721 bln in fourth quarter
BUENOS AIRES, March 21 (Reuters) - Argentina reported a current account deficit of $1.721 billion in the fourth quarter and ended the year with a deficit of $4.330 billion, the government said on Friday.
The current account is the broadest measure of a country's foreign transactions, encompassing trade, services and an array of financial flows, including interest payments. (Reporting by Buenos Aires bureau; Editing by Chris Reese)
