SANTIAGO, April 30 (Reuters) - Chile posted a slight fiscal account surplus in the first quarter, as a rising tax take outweighed falling copper income, the national budget office said on Thursday.
The surplus for the period from January to March was $183 million, or 0.1 percent of estimated gross domestic product, it said.
The top copper exporter posted a fiscal deficit of 1.4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014. (Reporting by Antonio de la Jara; Editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
