Argentine economic activity falls 4.3 pct in June
BUENOS AIRES Aug 24 (Reuters) - Argentina's economic activity shrank 4.3 percent in June compared with the same month a year earlier, government data showed on Wednesday, well below market expectations.
Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a median decrease of 1.1 percent in the monthly EMAE economic activity index, which is a close proxy for gross domestic product. (Reporting by Buenos Aires bureau; Editing by Sandra Maler)
