Colombia's central bank lowers 2016 GDP forecast to 2.3 pct
BOGOTA, July 29 (Reuters) - Colombia's central bank has lowered its gross domestic product growth prediction for this year to 2.3 percent, down from 2.5 percent, central bank board chief Jose Dario Uribe said on Friday.
Finance Minister Mauricio Cardenas said he differed with other board members on the prediction and believed growth would reach 3 percent. (Reporting by Julia Symmes Cobb)
