RIO DE JANEIRO, May 29 (Reuters) - Brazil's economy shrank 0.2 percent in the first quarter from the previous three months , government agency IBGE said on Friday.
The number was better than market expectations of a 0.5 percent contraction, according to the median forecast of 25 analysts polled by Reuters. (Reporting by Rodrigo Viga Gaier)
