Brazil's Barbosa says fiscal recovery hinges on economic stability
BRASILIA Dec 17 (Reuters) - Brazilian Planning Minister Nelson Barbosa said on Thursday that the government needs to stabilize a contracting economy in order to bolster fiscal savings next year.
Barbosa said that is why the government proposed a lower 2016 primary surplus target as a way to maintain public investments and support the economy. (Reporting by Alonso Soto)
