SAO PAULO, Feb 14 (Reuters) - Shares of Brazilian logistics company ALL America Latina Logistica SA rose more than 10 percent in early trading on news of a final merger deal with Rumo Logistica, the transportation unit of sugar and ethanol heavyweight Cosan SA.
Newspaper Valor Economico reported on Friday, without saying how it obtained the information, that the companies had reached a final deal after long-running talks.
ALL and Cosan said in Friday morning filings that the companies had still not reached a final agreement in their negotiations. (Reporting by Alberto Alerigi Jr. and Priscila Jordao; Editing by Lisa Von Ahn)
