BRASILIA, April 2 (Reuters) - A pick up in food prices in Brazil caused by a prolonged drought should be temporary, Finance Minister Guido Mantega said on Wednesday.
The surge in food prices has prompted the central bank to warn it may keep raising rates to ease inflation risks.
