RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Brazil's Vale expects the price of iron ore .IO62-CNI=SI to trade between $70 and $79 in the second quarter and to remain there for most of the year, the company's chief executive told Reuters on Tuesday.

"We don't expect a strong move in the price level, but it could be in the range of $70-$79 (per tonne) in the second quarter," chief executive Murilo Ferreira told Reuters in an interview. (Reporting by Stephen Eisenhammer and Marta Nogueira)
