RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderurgicas de Minas Gerais SA said on Friday its board did not approve the release of fourth quarter results or the payment of dividends, further adding to the difficulties facing the troubled steelmaker.
Usiminas, as the company is known, was supposed to release financial results on Friday.
The company is in the midst of a battle between controlling shareholders Ternium SA and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp. (Reporting by Stephen Eisenhammer)
