BRIEF-Brazil fuel sales fall 5.8 percent in October -ANP
Nov 24 (Reuters) - Brazil's oil regulator ANP has released fuel-sales figures for October
* Brazil total fuel sales fell 5.8 percent in October vs the year-earlier month.
* Brazilian fuel sales have been suffering in recent months as the country's recession, the worst in at least three decades, deepens, reducing demand.
* Pure ethanol sales, or sales of ethanol from dedicated pumps available at all service stations, have increased as higher gasoline prices in Brazil have made ethanol more competitive for drivers with flex-fuel cars, cars that can use any mix of gasoline or ethanol.
