Argentina says industrial output shrank 0.9 pct y/y in May
BUENOS AIRES, June 25 (Reuters) - Argentina's industrial output contracted 0.9 percent in the twelve months to May, Economy Ministry data showed on Thursday, marking the 22nd consecutive monthly decline on the previous year.
The figure was slightly better than the median forecast in a Reuters poll of 10 analysts for a 1.0 percent fall.
On a month-on-month basis, industrial output rose 0.2 percent in May, the ministry said. (Reporting by Buenos Aires newsroom; Editing by Chris Reese)
