RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Brazil's non-seasonally adjusted jobless rate rose in July to 7.5 percent, the highest in over five years, statistics agency IBGE said on Thursday.
The number was above the forecast of 7.05 percent in a Reuters poll of 16 economists. The jobless rate stood at 6.9 percent in June. (Reporting by Rodrigo Viga Gaier Editing by W Simon)
