Brazil's Cemig to pay 2.21 bln reais to run 18 hydropower plants
SAO PAULO Nov 25 (Reuters) - Brazil's utility Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais agreed to pay 2.21 billion reais ($580 million) for the rights to operate 18 hydropower installations in the country in an auction on Wednesday, according to local electricity regulator Aneel.
($1 = 3.802 Brazilian reais)
