SAO PAULO, Feb 29 (Reuters) - Brazil's largest private power generator, Tractebel Energia SA, said Monday that there is a large number of assets on sale in the country's power sector, as development costs rose and credit became scarce and expensive.
The company is evaluating carefully opportunities to buy assets, Tractebel's Chief Financial Officer Eduardo Sattamini told investors and analysts.
