BRIEF-Brazil Chesf seeks financing to complete Belo Monte investment
May 18 (Reuters) - Brazil power firm Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco (Chesf), a subsidiary of state-controlled utility Eletrobras, said it is seeking financing to complete investment at the Belo Monte hydroelectric dam
* Chesf said it is behind schedule on Belo Monte investment, but believes it will catch up with partners in the project soon
* The company has a 15 percent share in the project. Other partners include pension funds Petros and Funcef, power companies Neoenergia, Cemig, Light and miner Vale (Reporting by Luciano Costa)
