Brazil to announce annual fiscal goal next week, minister says
SAO PAULO May 19 (Reuters) - The Brazilian government expects to announce a target for this year's budget deficit as early as Monday, Planning Minister Romero Jucá said on Thursday.
Jucá said that group of government analysts is reassessing budget numbers from President Dilma Rousseff, who was suspended last week by the Senate and put on impeachment trial. Senate President Renan Calheiros said earlier in the day that Congress could discuss and vote on the new target that the government presents to lawmakers as early as next Tuesday.
