Brazil January gasoline sales fall 13.9 pct vs year earlier -ANP
RIO DE JANEIRO Feb 19 (Reuters) - Brazilian sales of C-grade gasoline fell 13.9 percent in January compared with the same month a year earlier, Brazil's petroleum regulator ANP said on Friday, as Brazil's economy struggled through one of its worst recessions in decades.
C-grade gasoline contains 27 percent anhydrous ethanol.
Brazilian sales of hydrated ethanol, which is sold separately from gasoline at service stations around the country, fell 3.2 percent in January compared with a year earlier, the ANP said. (Reporting by Jeb Blount; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
