BRASILIA, Dec 15 (Reuters) - The Brazilian central bank's IBC-Br economic activity index dropped 0.26 percent month-on-month in October in seasonally adjusted terms, the bank said on Monday.
The median estimate in a Reuters survey of nine analysts was for a 0.20 percent increase.
The IBC-Br index, a gauge of activity in the farming, industry and services sectors, fell a non-seasonally adjusted 1.18 percent over the same month last year. (Reporting by Alonso Soto; Editing by Kevin Liffey)
