SAO PAULO, May 18 (Reuters) - Brazilian policymakers will
probably lower interest rates next year less sharply than
previously expected, according to economists in a weekly poll by
the central bank.
The median expectation of about 100 analysts for Brazil's
benchmark interest rate at end of next year stood at 11.75
percent, up from 11.63 percent in the prior week's survey.
Forecasts for inflation and economic growth remained largely
unchanged.
