(Corrects view for 2016 interest rates in headline and 2nd paragraph) SAO PAULO, May 18 (Reuters) - Brazilian policymakers will probably lower interest rates next year less sharply than previously expected, according to economists in a weekly poll by the central bank. The median expectation of about 100 analysts for Brazil's benchmark interest rate at end of next year stood at 11.75 percent, up from 11.63 percent in the prior week's survey. Forecasts for inflation and economic growth remained largely unchanged.
