Brazil's central bank set to raise rates in 2016 -poll

BRASILIA, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Economists raised their
forecasts for Brazil's interest rates at end-2016, according to
a weekly central bank survey, as inflation expectations rose
further above the official target.
    The median expectation of about 100 financial institutions
projected the benchmark Selic rate at 14.63 percent at end-2016,
up from a current rate of 14.25 percent. The inflation rate is
seen at 10.61 percent at end-2015 and 6.80 percent at end-2016,
above the 6.5 percent ceiling of the government's target range.
