BRASILIA, May 2 (Reuters) - Economists cut their forecasts
for Brazil's inflation in 2016 and 2017, a weekly central bank
poll showed on Monday, as a deep recession helps to curb upward
price pressures.
They reduced 2016 economic growth estimates for the 15th
straight week, but raised them slightly for 2017, as political
developments threaten to cut short the mandate of President
Dilma Rousseff, who is unpopular with many investors.
