BRASILIA, July 18 (Reuters) - Economists in Brazil cut their
2017 inflation forecasts for a third straight week and raised
their expectations for economic growth this year and next, a
weekly central bank survey showed on Monday.
The median forecast of about 100 economists in the official
poll projected Latin America's largest economy will lift off a
severe recession in 2017 by growing 1.1 percent. Inflation is
expected to ease from 7.3 percent in 2016 to 5.3 percent in
2017, closer to the 4.5 percent official target.
