LIMA, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Peru's central bank held the benchmark interest rate steady at 4.25 percent, as widely expected, for a seventh straight month on Thursday as inflation remained tame.
All 11 economists polled by Reuters had forecast another unchanged rate, after the central bank said last month that it was "comfortable" with the current interest rate.
