MILAN, July 27 (Reuters) - Italian power grid company Terna said on Wednesday it was looking at business opportunities outside Italy including taking part in a tender to build a power line in Uruguay.
In a statement on first half results, Terna said it had also expressed an interest to participate in the tender to buy a 24 percent stake in the Greek TSO grid.
The company, controlled by state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, said it expected its core earnings this year to reach 1.53 billion euros after beating expectations in the first half.
