BRASILIA, April 4 (Reuters) - State-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro S.A., or Petrobras, said on Friday it started production at a well in its off-shore Sapinhoa oilfield.
Petrobras said the 7-SPH-04-SPS well has the potential to produce 26,000 barrels of oil per day and its connected to the Cidade de Sao Paulo floating production storage and offloading facility (FPSO).
The company also said its output at the sub-salt region reached a new record of 387,000 barrels of oil per day in March from 385,000 barrels in February. (Reporting by Alonso Soto)
