Brazilian oil company Óleo e Gás Participações SA, formerly known as OGX, said in a Monday securities filing that its oil production totaled 421,287 barrels in April.
The company, currently under bankruptcy court protection and controlled by troubled Brazilian tycoon Eike Batista, said 296,309 barrels of its output came from the offshore Tubarão Martelo field while 124,978 barrels came from test areas in the Tubarão Azul field.
So far this year, total production reached 1,633,640 barrels, Óleo d Gás said. (Reporting by Luciana Bruno; Editing by Cynthia Osterman)
