HOUSTON, June 5 (Reuters) - Argentina’s oil company Pluspetrol has launched a tender to sell a 380,000 barrel cargo of Peruvian Loreto crude for delivery August 1-10 at Bayovar port, according to a document seen by Reuters on Thursday.
Pluspetrol and partners in Peru last month offered two cargoes combining Mayna and Loreto crudes and two naphtha cargoes on the open market.
For this one, the company will accept offers until June 11 and they must be indexed to West Texas Intermediate o Brent crudes prices.
Loreto is medium crude with 17-19 API degrees of density. (Reporting by Marianna Parraga)
