HOUSTON, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Argentine oil firm Tecpetrol and partners in the South American country have launched a tender to sell 500,000-670,000 barrels of Escalante crude for delivery on October 7-15 at Caleta Cordova terminal, according to a document seen by Reuters on Monday.
Tecpetrol, a unit of Chile’s state-run ENAP and a subsidiary of Brazil’s Petrobras produce oil in the Argentine provinces of Chubut and Neuquen and they jointly frequently tender to sell the crude on the open market.
The companies, which sold a similar cargo in June, will receive bids until August 28 for this offer and they must refer to ICE Brent crude front month prices. The cargo must be exported from Argentina, according to the tender’s terms. (Reporting by Marianna Parraga)
