HOUSTON, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Venezuela’s PDVSA is seeking to buy a 300,000 barrel cargo of ultra low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) and a 300,000 barrel catalytic naphtha cargo, while selling a 250,000 barrel cargo combining natural gasoline and light virgin naphtha (LVN) for November, according to documents seen by Reuters on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, the state-run oil company bought two catalytic naphtha cargoes, a ULSD cargo and a reformate cargo on the open market as several deep coversion units at its domestic refining network are halted. It also sold a LVN cargo.
For these tenders, the company is seeking a ULSD cargo for delivery November 10-12 at any of its ports and a catalytic naphtha cargo for November 19-21. Prices must be indexed to ULSD and unleaded gasoline prices from the U.S. Gulf Coast.
The combined cargo for sale will contain 110,000 barrels of LVN and 140,000 barrels of natural gasoline. It must be loaded at Punta Cardon and Jose ports on November 22-25 and prices should refer to natural gasoline from Mont Belvieu and naphtha from Northwest Europe.
Bids will be received until October 30. (Reporting by Marianna Parraga; Editing by Anna Driver)
