Brazil's Braskem posts lower profit, sees prices falling
SAO PAULO Nov 6 (Reuters) - Brazil's Braskem SA, the largest petrochemical company in Latin America, reported a 42 percent drop in third-quarter profit from a year earlier to 230 million reais ($91 million), according to a securities filing on Thursday.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization fell 10 percent to 1.502 billion reais.
The company said it expected petrochemical prices to accompany the drop in the cost of fuel stocks.
