STXNEWS LATAM-Vale absorbs two Brazilian mines into main unit
The board of Brazil's Vale SA, the world's largest iron ore miner, agreed on Thursday to absorb two Brazilian mining subsidiaries, incorporating them into the main unit, the Rio de Janeiro-based company said in a statement. The subsidiaries are Mineracao Constelacao de Apolo SA and Vale Mina do Azul SA. Vale said the measure was taken to simplify its corporate structure. (Editing by Andrew Hay)
