No inflationary pressures to merit Mexico rate hike at moment-Carstens
MEXICO CITY, April 22 (Reuters) - There is at present no evidence of inflationary pressures that would justify an interest rate hike, Mexico's central bank governor Agustin Carstens said on Wednesday.
"We need to have evidence that there are greater inflationary pressures ... that's not happening today," Carstens said in an interview on local radio. (Reporting by Gabriel Stargardter; Editing by Simon Gardner)
