SANTIAGO, May 7 (Reuters) - Chilean paper and forestry company Empresas CMPC posted a first-quarter net loss of $76.6 million due to the depreciation of Chile's peso and Brazil's real, and the impact of forest fires, the firm said on Thursday.
CMPC, one of the world's biggest wood pulp producers, posted a net profit of $46.4 million in the same period of the previous year.
