June 18 (Reuters) - Spain's Repsol said on Thursday that it and Bolivia's state-owned energy company YPFB had made an oil discovery in the South American country, with production capacity of 6,500 barrels per day of crude from 2019 onwards.
The field will begin production in 2017, President Evo Morales said during a public appearance in Santa Cruz province.
Repsol has a 48 percent stake in the deposit, with YPFB holding 51 percent leaving 1 percent for minority holders. (Reporting by Andres Gonzalez, writing by Julien Toyer and Maximiliano Rizzi)
