RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug 18 (Reuters) - Production of oil and natural gas by Brazil's state-run oil firm Petroleo Brasileiro SA rose 3.6 percent in July from a year ago as new production systems came on line, the company said on Tuesday.
Petrobras produced 2.79 million barrels of oil and equivalent natural gas per day (boepd) compared to 2.69 million boepd in July on last year.
Output rose 1.8 percent July from 2.745 in June, it said in a statement. (Reporting by Anthony Boadle; Editing by Bernard Orr)
