RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov 25 (Reuters) - Brazil's state-controlled oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA said on Wednesday that it agreed to buy 73,300 cubic meters (461,000 barrels) of gasoline in December from Brazilian petrochemical company Braskem SA.
The fuel will be purchased from Braskem plants in São Paulo and the far-southern state of Rio Grande do Sul, Petrobras, as the oil company is known, said in a statement.
Petrobras, which owns 36 percent of Braskem and supplies it with naphtha, agreed to buy 82,000 cubic meters (515,764 barrels) of gasoline from the petrochemical company in November. (Reporting by Jeb Blount; Editing by Alan Crosby)
