Brazil's CPFL to raise up to 2.083 bln reais for next year
SAO PAULO Dec 23 (Reuters) - CPFL Energia SA, one of Brazil's largest non-government power holding companies, will raise up to 2.083 billion reais ($527 million) from banks and capital markets next year.
In a Wednesday securities filing, CPFL said that 1.48 billion reais will be raised to finance the group's budget and investments for 2016, while 600 million reais will be fetched for liability management, or activities similar to debt refinancing.
