Grana y Montero reports 162 pct yr/yr jump in net profit in Q2
LIMA, July 25 (Reuters) - Peruvian engineering group Grana y Montero said late on Monday its net profit surged 162 percent to 104.9 million soles ($31.6 million) in the second quarter from the same period a year earlier.
Grana y Montero said its sale of its stake in a natural gas pipeline and the sol's appreciation against the dollar helped the result.
The group owns 26 engineering and infrastructure services companies operating in seven countries in Latin America, including Peru, Chile and Colombia.
