RIO DE JANEIRO, April 24 (Reuters) - Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais SA stock jumped as much as 2.6 percent early on Thursday after Brazil's largest producer of flat steel products reported a rise in first-quarter profit.
Shares of Usiminas, as the company is known, were up 1.9 percent at 9.68 reais after rising as high as 9.75 reais earlier. (Reporting by Walter Brandimarte; Editing by Lisa Von Ahn)
