Argentina's Tecpetrol and partners seek to sell Escalante crude cargo
HOUSTON, June 24 (Reuters) - Argentina's private oil firm Tecpetrol and partners have launched a tender to sell a 500,000-700,000 barrel cargo of Escalante crude for delivery August 14-24 at Caleta Cordova terminal, according to a document seen by Reuters on Tuesday.
Tecpetrol, a unit of Chile's state-run ENAP and a subsidiary of Brazil's Petrobras produce crude in the Argentine provinces of Chubut and Neuquen.
The invitation says that bids will be received until June 27 and they must be indexed to ICE Brent front month prices. Sellers will also include Dapetrol, a Tecpetrol subsidiary.
Tecpetrol and ENAP Sipetrol in April offered a 450,000 barrel cargo of Escalante medium crude on the open market, which was delivered last month. (Reporting by Marianna Parraga; Editing by Chris Reese)
