Venezuela's Cardon refinery halts two alkylation units: workers
PARAGUANA, Venezuela, July 22 (Reuters) - Venezuela's 310,000 barrel per day Cardon refinery has halted two alkylation units due to operational problems, workers said on Tuesday.
The workers, who asked not to be identified, said they were not given any additional details on the reasons for the stoppage.
State oil company PDVSA did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The units produce alkylate, a gasoline blending component. (Reporting by Sailu Urribarri, writing by Brian Ellsworth; Editing by Chris Reese)
