SAO PAULO, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Brazil's Braskem SA, Latin America's largest petrochemical company, posted a second-quarter profit of 124 million reais ($54.39 million) on Thursday, versus a net loss of 125 million reais a year ago, according to a securities filing.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, rose 6.2 percent to 1.13 billion reais. ($1 = 2.28 Brazilian reais) (Editing by Nick Zieminski)
