TABLE-Brazil's IGP-M price index rises 0.2 pct in September
BRASILIA, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Brazil's broadest inflation measure, the IGP-M, rose 0.20 percent in September, below market forecasts, private think tank Fundação Getúlio Vargas said on Monday. The index had been expected to increase 0.33 percent, according to the median forecast of 11 economists polled. In the 12 months through September, the IGP-M index rose 3.54 percent, easing from 4.89 percent in the previous month as the impact of a severe drought on food prices earlier this year gradually wanes.
