SANTIAGO, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Chile’s Bio Bio oil refinery will undergo programmed maintenance work at half of its installations in March, state oil firm ENAP told Reuters on Wednesday.
Maintenance work at the 116,000 barrel-per-day plant located in southern Chile “includes alkylation and catalytic cracking,” the company said.
Alkylation and catalytic cracking are refining processes made after crude input to a refinery.
Enap reiterated that its Aconcagua oil refinery in central Chile should be fully operational by December 15, following a fire at one of its distillation plants last week and programmed maintenance work. (Reporting by Fabian Cambero; Writing by Anthony Esposito; editing by Andrew Hay)
