BRASILIA, April 16 (Reuters) - Brazilian state-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA said on Thursday it discovered an oil accumulation in the onshore portion of the Espirito Santos basin.
The reserves are 711 metres (2,332 feet) underground and were found after drilling the 1-BRSA-1302-ES well, also known as Guayacan, located about 120 km (74 miles) of the city of Vitoria.
Petrobras is the operator and owner of the ES-T-495 exploration block where the accumulation was found.
