Brazil's Usiminas to close headquarters on Fridays to cut costs
SAO PAULO, June 29 (Reuters) - Brazilian steelmaker Usiminas plans to close its headquarters in Belo Horizonte on Fridays to cut labor costs, the company said in a securities filing on Monday.
Friday closures at Usinas Siderurgicas de Minas Gerais SA, as the company is formally known, will start on July 3 and last for three months, possibly longer, the filing said. (Reporting by Juliana Schincariol; Writing by Caroline Stauffer; Editing by Christian Plumb)
