Brazil's Eletrobras compensation set at 1 bln reais
RIO DE JANEIRO, July 15 (Reuters) - Brazil's state-run energy company Eletrobras said on Wednesday compensation has been set at 1.01 bilion reais ($322 million) for unamortized investments in power lines made by its subsidiary, Eletrosul Centrais Elétricas SA.
The decision was taken by Brazil's electricity agency Aneel.
The form and conditions for receiving the funds have not yet been determined, Eletrobras said in a statement. No date for receiving the compensation was given.
