RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb 29 (Reuters) - Brazil's state-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA said on Monday it produced 2.47 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in Brazil in January, down 7.1 percent compared to the previous month.
Petrobras, as the company is known, said the drop was principally due to scheduled maintenance on several platforms.
The company produced 2 million barrels of oil per day in Brazil in January.
